Radiation controlled area x-rays risk from external radiation sign

This Radiation Controlled Area X-Rays Sign provides a clear and highly visible warning that an area contains equipment capable of producing X-rays, helping alert employees, visitors and contractors to the potential risk of exposure to external ionising radiation.

The sign displays the important safety messages Radiation Controlled Area, X-Rays, Risk From External Radiation, Authorised Persons Only and No Entry When Red Light Is On, clearly identifying the hazard and associated access restrictions.

X-rays are a form of ionising radiation that can present health risks if appropriate exposure controls are not maintained. Displaying clear warning signage helps identify areas where radiation protection measures and controlled access procedures are required.

This sign is suitable for hospitals, medical imaging departments, dental X-ray facilities, veterinary practices, research laboratories, universities, industrial radiography facilities and other premises where X-ray equipment is operated.

The prominent Radiation Controlled Area warning informs personnel that specific radiation protection arrangements and access restrictions apply within the designated area.

The Risk From External Radiation message identifies the nature of the hazard, helping ensure that people understand the potential danger associated with entering an area where X-ray equipment may be operating.

The Authorised Persons Only instruction reinforces access controls, helping prevent unauthorised employees, visitors and contractors from entering restricted radiation areas.

The No Entry When Red Light Is On instruction provides an important warning for areas fitted with illuminated red warning lights, clearly indicating that entry is prohibited while the red light is illuminated.

This sign is particularly useful at entrances to X-ray rooms, radiography suites, industrial inspection facilities, controlled laboratories and other designated radiation controlled areas.

Positioning the sign on access doors, adjacent walls or other prominent entry points helps ensure that personnel are aware of the radiation hazard and entry restrictions before approaching the controlled area.

The sign can be displayed alongside radiation warning lights, X-ray equipment notices, emergency instructions and other appropriate radiation protection signage to support established workplace safety procedures.

Manufactured from durable, high quality materials with clear print and excellent visibility, this Radiation Controlled Area X-Rays Sign provides a professional and long lasting solution for communicating external radiation hazards, authorised access restrictions and red warning light entry instructions.
